Released in 1979, it followed the commercial highs of All Things Must Pass and Living in the Material World with a lighter, more personal set of songs, led by the hit single Blow Away and the warmly tuneful Here Comes the Moon. The record also includes the long-shelved Not Guilty, reworked here from Harrison’s Beatles-era archives. With its easygoing rock arrangements and careful songwriting, the album showed he could make understatement sound unmistakably assured.
