'Come My Fanatics' is an essential record of the stoner and doom metal subgenres. Electric Wizard's second album saw their beefed up take on psychedelic metal come into its own, as ridiculously heavy riffs meet lumbering drums, fuzzed-out drone feedbacks, deep bass growls, and an atmosphere which recalls the hellish tales of Lovecraftian literature, infernal pagan rituals, tripped out biker flicks, and B-movie horrors. This is when they started to lead the scene and influence every group in their respective subgenres.
